Reflections

11 motifs. 11 perspectives.
Between society, identity and everyday life,
these works invite you to look closer and reflect on your own perspective.

Tolerance vs. Acceptance

Let’s aim for acceptance! Tolerance implies that one is willing to bear other peoples beliefs and values that do not conform to one‘s own. Acceptance on the other hand is more inclusive. To practise acceptance means to respect the differences in the way people live their lives without being judgmental of their religion, sexuality, cultural background and so on.

Mind the gaps

This poster reflects on structural inequealities embedded in society – gaps that are not accidental, but built into systems of power, access and visibility.

It explores how differences in opportunity, recognition and resources continue to reinforce one another.

World of women

A reflection on inequality, expectations and control over women’s lives and bodies.

World of Women brings together issues such as the gender pay gap, unpaid domestic work, period poverty, beauty standards and the fight for bodily autonomy.

„Can you think of any laws that give government the power to make decisions about the male body?“

– Kamala Harris

Human Connection 2.0

Human reflection on how we connect in a world shaped by screens, algorithms and constant communication. Sometimes we are more connected than ever – and yet further apart.

„Are we all looking for real connection in an unreal space, where everyone’s just a profile, easy to be removed and replaced?“ – Anita Svetic

Available as A2 (420×594mm) & A3 (297×420mm) prints and t-shirts.

Human Connection 2.0 — PT.II

Human connection PT.II continues the reflection on how technology shapes the way we connect. In a world of constant communication, being connected does not always mean feeling close.

What happens to human connection when technology becomes the space between us?

„Are we all looking for real connection in an unreal space, where everyone’s just a profile, easy to be removed and replaced?“ – Anita Svetic

Save the oceans

Did you know that about half of the earth’s oxygen is produced by the oceans?

Much of it comes from microscopic organisms called phytoplankton. Like plants on land, they use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen through photosynthesis.

But our oceans are increasingly threatened by plastic pollution. Plastic waste harms marine life and disrupts the ecosystems that make life in our oceans possible.

Imagine peace

Imagine Peace is a typographic reflection on the idea of peace in a world shaped by conflict, violence and division. The phrase may seem almost naive or even ironic in times like these. Yet perhaps imagining peace is where every attempt to create it begins.

Women's Rights Are Human Rights

Created for International Women’s Day, this work brings together flowers to form a uterus, connecting femininity, life and diversity with the ongoing fight for equality.

Women’s rights are not separate from human rights. They are fundamental human rights.

Available as A2 (420×594mm) & A3 (297×420mm) prints and t-shirts.

Who defines what you see?

A reflection on perception, repetition and the way we look at bodies. What we see is often shaped long before we begin to question it.

Available as A2 (420×594mm) & A3 (297×420mm) prints and t-shirts.

Who can afford?

A reflection on justice, equality and who gets access to it.

Lady Justice traditionally stands for fairness and equality before the law. But what happens when justice is not equally accessible to everyone? Legal representation, time, knowledge and financial resources can all influence who is able to defend their rights.

Available as A2 (420×594mm) & A3 (297×420mm) prints.

Imagine peace — II

A second typographic attempt at imagining peace. Repetition is an exercise in hope.

Available as A2 (420×594mm) & A3 (297×420mm) prints and t-shirts.
